| Unfortunately we do not have facilities for children under eleven.Nestled in the hillside overlooking the Mawddach Estuary Cadair Mountains and the Sea just ten minutes from the town centre. The magnificent beach boasts the European Blue Flag award for cleanliness and at low tide the sands extend for over 7 miles as far as Shell Island. The area is a paradise for walkers with spectacular scenery ranging from gushing streams to rocky rivers from sandy beaches to mountain peaks from cottages to castles.Nearby interests and activities include fishing kite feeding quad and mountain biking cycle hire narrow guage railways swimming and hydro electric power stations to mention but a few.All guest house bedrooms have been tastefully decorated and furnished with comfort in mind. Most rooms have en suite shower and toilet and all have colour television hospitality tray . If a bath is considered more desirable there is a separate bathroom with a full length bath. Barmouth is the ideal location for a relaxing holiday. With a magnificent beach a beautiful estuary an abundance of places to visit wonderful walks both flat and hilly and within easy reach of Snowdon and the rest of picturesque Mid and North Wales. |
